How Would You Like to Die? Life consists of a large quantity of choices. People make various kind of decisions through every second of their life. Death, as the end of life, also put a full stop on making decisions. Thus, the last decision that people could make, might be how to die. Some people choose to end their life story by waiting in the bed of a hospital or a sanatorium until death comes onto their faces which are full of fear with their family crying in front of them. The others make a decision to find a perfect time, a wonderful place and leave the world in their own way. Just like John Keats’ arguments in â€Å"Ode to a Nightingale,† â€Å"I have been half in love with easeful death†¦Now more than ever seems it rich to die, to cease upon the midnight with no pain† (52-54). Nevertheless, those who made their own choice on how to end their life are treated unfairly. Some would say—and some have said—that suicide is stupid, pointless, an d meaningless. This is far too casual a judgment, too dismissive of the decision the suicidal person made. How to die, as a significant question in one’s life, probably the last decision that one can make, must has some meanings in it. Therefore, suicide, the action that humans choose their own ways to leave the world, should be right. Controlling one’s own death should not be considered as selfish, meaningless or evil.
